EMAIL: BEST DINNER YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What did you make for dinner?
Check out this email from my friend and Homemade Gourmet customer, Tracee. I am so honored to have received such wonderful feedback!
Tracee has been a customer of mine for over a year!
Thanks Tracee for your kind words....
Jen -
Hey there! Todd and I wanted to let you know what a wonderful dinner we had tonight. Our main course was the Season 'n' Steam Tenderloin mix. Oh my gosh - if you haven't tried this one yet - it's a must for your list! This morning I cut up the loin, threw it in the bag, with the mix and water and let it marinade for a few hours. We also had corn, along with Mom's mashed potato's and the three cheese garlic biscuit's - YUM! Dessert was Grandma's Buttermilk Pie - Awesome!
Back to the tenderloin - it was the best that either one of us have ever had. Todd loves to eat and try new things, and this one was a hit. His words, "This is Killer" !! I am adding a few of these to my next shipment for sure!!! Thank you so much for introducing me to Homemade Gourmet! You of all people know my hectic schedule and how hard it is for me to come home and fix a nice meal. With HG it's sooo easy! Anyone who is not a Preferred Homemade Gourmet customer, really should consider it. Without that I'm not sure I would of tried a lot of the great meals that we have had.
Again, thanks so much for everything, especially your friendship. Give those adorable babies hugs and lots of kisses from Todd, Allie and I !!
Love ,
Tracee
The Season and Steam Pork Tenderloin mix sells on my website for $6.75. Place your order before Wednesday 9am and get it for $5.00

1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

3 tablespoons Spiced Dip Mix

1 15 ounce bag of unsalted pretzel sticks

Preheat oven to 350. Line an 11X17X1 baking sheet with aluminum foil; spray foil generously with cooking spray and set aside.
In large mixing bowl, combine honey, butter, water and dip mix. Add chili powder if desired. Add pretzels, tumble pretzels in the bowl to coat.

Spread pretzels evenly on prepared baking sheets. Bake in oven for 4 minutes. Stir pretzels and bake an additional 4 minutes. Do not over bake as honey will burn. Let pretzels cool on baking sheet. Loosen pretzels from foil. Store in airtight container at room temperature.Serves 30
Pumpkin Apple Crisp
1 Old Fashioned Apple Crisp Mix
15 oz. can pumpkin
1 Tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
⅔ cup granulated sugar
21 oz. can apple pie filling

Preheat oven to 350. Combine pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, sugar and apple pie filling. Pour in square baking dish. Combine Apple Crisp Mix and margarine. Spoon on top of fruit mixture. Bake for 30 minutes.

Caramelized Baked Meatballs
1 Homemade Gourmet Meatloaf Mix

2 lbs. ground meat of choice

2 eggs

1/2 cup ketchup

2 cups shredded cheese (I used 1 cup cheddar and 1 co-jack)

2 lbs. bacon

2 cups water

2 cups brown sugar

1 small onion sliced

Mix meatloaf mix, meat, ketchup, eggs and cheese. Form mixture into balls. Cut bacon slices in half and wrap a slice around each meatball, use a toothpick pushed through the meatball to hold the bacon on. Bake in a cake pan for 20-30 minutes at 350 degrees. You can make the meatball appetizer without the bacon too. Remove from oven and drain grease. Put into a crock pot and add sliced onion. Put sugar and water in a small pot and bring to a boil. Pour over meatballs and let simmer for a few hours. The longer you let sit the crisper the bacon gets! Remove from crock pot, add toothpicks to the meatballs and serve to your family and friends. Enjoy!
